We decided on a name, Jeremiah John as you can tell from the title of the post. John being named after Jeremiah’s Papa John. We can now move on to other decisions and preparations.
The blanket in the picture is from Jeremiah’s Great Grandma Luella. She makes these for his grandkids and great grandkids and Jeremiah’s fits in great with his room. It has animal prints and designs all over it and he will look great cuddled up in this blanket.
I have had a heightened focus on getting the basics ready for Jeremiah’s arrival. I have been having contractions and some other signs on pre-term labor already. Thankful testing indicates it won’t be in the next two weeks, but still it has me wanting to get the car seat and other must haves all ready for the new baby. With Zachary I had contractions for about 5 weeks before he arrived, which would still be too early for Jeremiah, so there is a lot of sitting and resting time for me right now and a lot of cooking for Austin. The hardest part is not lifting Zachary up if I can avoid it and just sitting still and not going places. The Olympics have helped keep me entertained, although it is very frustrating that they wait to show all the good events until 10-12 pm.
Speaking of Zachary, he has grown up a lot lately and is all over the place. He can climb up and off of things easily on his own and is very interactive with us.
Thankfully Daisy has become a very patient and tolerant puppy in her old age, they both like to play with each other frequently. Bo is a little too old and gets left out of the fun.
And this is what Zachary did when Austin left his shirt laying on the ground. He likes to be just like his dada.

Looks like Zach has a real friend in Daisy!
Jeremiah John is such a handsome name! Zachary will be so blessed to have a little brother.
